I like Redline stuff. I just need to look into it some more and see what most people are using. Quote:

I spent the better part of this weekend cleaning the car. I took both seats out to vacuum the carpet, then cleaned it with 3M upholstery cleaner. Very clean and fresh now.
I also removed the rear trunk lining to clean it with the 3M stuff as well. I did uncover a leak in the trunk -- the seal for the rear vent is broken, so when you wash the car the bottom cavity of the trunk can flood depending on how you spray the rear of the car with the hose. Thankfully the fix is simple -- I just need to pull the bumper and rebuild the seal. I would have done it this weekend, but it got so cold on Sunday I was afraid of breaking the tabs. It's going to be warmer this weekend so I'll take care of it then. Until then, I'm rolling around like this: The tape measures are in there to make sure I could fit a suitcase in the trunk.

Shahid might need some more experience with a manual transmission before getting in the S2K
Look forward to seeing the car this weekend hopefully! Haven't rode in an S2K since 2001 (one of the first AP1's on the east coast at the time). But back then, first thought I had was "this thing is a go-kart for the street". When those cams switch profiles at 6K, it's just a whole different experience.

Wow, I just noticed your new addition. Congrats! I'm definitely jelly. There are times when I really miss my S2k.
Are the seats stock or did you already order the clazzio seat covers? I don't remember the 05s coming with red stitching.

That's just a picture I grabbed of a car with the seat covers.

Speaking of seats, I also ordered some seat locks since apparently these get stolen a lot.
Oh, and I want a OEM hard top for it now.
