I had the hardest decision on buying my z I was stuck on the z or an s2000 I don't regret my choice but I will someday buy a s2000 they are beautiful

It's an awesome car. I love driving it. I've been driving it all this week since the 5.0 is resting for ZDayZ.

Yup they are awesome! Got a few friends with them.

A lot of ppl bash on them saying their slow n their this but honestly I could are less I love the s2k for what they are , I respect the car.

Not to mention that u can really make a beast out of them ... Just takes a lot more

We are swinging by CarMax today just to see what they would give us for the S2000. We are considering replacing it with either an Audi TTS or a 370Z Nismo this summer or fall. This would be my fiancée's daily driver. I know she is leaning towards the TTS but we'll see. Its not cheap to buy and own relative to the Nismo, but it is AWD and gorgeous inside.

I think he saying to wait for the redesign. Or you should wait and get the 2014 G IPL if they do indeed bring the TT setup :stirthepot: However for the money you could easily get a GTR.

Yeah not looking to spend a lot. We go through cars a lot so I'd rather not eat depreciation on a new car.

Yeah I was saying you could wait till the new design is revealed, but if you're going used then not much point. I was trying to help you avoid the same feeling all the people who bought new 2010 Mustangs felt when they heard about the 2011 :roflpuke2:

Stopped with our group at the end of "The Dragon," ZDayZ 2011.

So far I have FRPP "Sport" axle back exhaust, Steeda cold-air intake with SCT tune, GT/CS front valence and BOSS 302 splitter (not the LS).

I have yet to install the following parts which I have at home:

Steeda Sport springs
Steeda heavy duty strut mounts
Koni yellow adjustable shocks/struts
Fays2 Watts Link

The car on stock suspension is pretty awesome, and will be even better with the new goodies.

It does need new summer tires. I was originally planning on Michelin PSS, but because I have the S now I need to decide if I still want to spend that much on tires or perhaps go with Continental DW instead. The S also needs summer rubber (it's on all seasons right now). I could buy Conti DW for both cars for the same price as PSS for just the 5.0. :icon17:

does it handle as well as C&D says? Is it really as good handling as the 370z? Is the steering as bad as they say?

He doesn't need support, this topic has been covered multiple times. M4a1 has youtube videos of his stock 5.0 keeping up with a 370z with thousands in suspension mods on the tail of the dragon. The 5.0 with the brembo package is a monster.

Well now that this thread was bumped, I figure I'll update the S2k. I replaced the stock HU and speakers with a Kenwood KDC896 and Polk DB651s speakers and Polk Db1001 tweeters.

It's way better now. I can actually hear the radio. :bowrofl:

Actually sounds pretty good now for a HU and a pair of speakers and tweeters. :tup:
