Default 2013 Dodge Viper is back

So what do you guys think? Looks a lot like the Gen IV... but may have upwards of 700bhp. I'm glad Chrysler/Dodge decided to keep it V10 as there were rumors last year that the new Viper could possibly have a turbo V8.

I guess its just SRT Viper now, not being called Dodge.

Wish their ACR version will be a bit more street and driver friendly.

Those pictures feel like a test mule to me. There might be some hints as to the next-gen front fascia, hence the cover up front, but the back is the same as the previous-gen. I don't think this is anywhere near what the finished product will be, but then again, how much design $$$ does Fiat want to throw towards an anachronistic flagship sportscar?

yea this^ viper's always been kind of a shop within chrysler. i think they've gone completely independent now, or were talking about it. i still think vipers are some of the coolest cars made, a modern classic.

wow, that "new" viper seems suspiciously similar to the old one. and even has the exact same engine. so all they did was just "tune" an extra 100 hp out of it. not really hard to do with 8.4 L of displacement. In fact I'm pretty sure aftermarket upgrades can already do that to the "old" viper

You can definitely see the contour of the new front lip...but for anyone that thinks this is the production version, I feel sorry for you.

Remember this GTR test mule?
