Art. 252.-Definitions a) Recognized production cars: cars of which the
series-production of a certain number of identical (see definition of this word
hereafter) cars, has been completed within a certain period of time, and which
are meant for the normal sale (see below) to the individual purchaser. This period
of time is of 12 consecutive months. The checking of the existing minimum
production enables the ACN to apply to the FIA for recognition (see this word
below).
... just sayin

I think I read somewhere that Ferrari helped with the development of the new Viper's V10

Yes, this was straight from the Road & Track article... "The Corvette engineering will keep a close eye on the Viper’s performance specs, and they’re not happy about reports stating that Ferrari has helped map the Viper’s engine for better performance"

I can buy, right now (if I wanted to be stupid), a car IDENTICAL to the one that ran a 7:12.XX around the 'ring. it will include a 3/36 warranty, and come right off a dealer lot. ACR 7:12 edition.

I can also LEGALLY drive it home.

To me, THAT qualifies it for "production".

looking to be a home/property owner by 30, so having to cut down on some things.

Although a Gen III or early gen IV are tempting as hell. I love the Vipers!

Yeah, but I am getting into Class III firearms, too, and I like to have a nice-sized cash buffer.

Plus, I am moving and want to buy 25+ acres. Not just a 1/2 acre lot.

What exactly are "real toys" by your definition?

I had the chance to buy an M82 the other month. I passed. $7500 (my price...) including optic (unknown). That is a normal firearm, not C3 or restricted in any way unless you live in Commifornia. Here it is on my co-worker's FB page...

Like I said, just no place/use or I would have bought.

As to the M203, cool, but it would cost me $200 for every shell I fired ON TOP of procuring the shell (if I could, I don't know if I can). Yes, I can own it (the M203). No, it's not worth the price to play. For $5 you can build something much more graphic, albeit you light it with a fuze and it doesn't have the CDI factor.

PS. Read her caption, it's an M82A1. There is no difference of which I am aware.
