no there is an all new 7 speed manual. this is auto is actually a carry over from the C6 (with some new internals and different mapping) reason we got the Auto is me and my dad went in and got it and he is going to be daily driving it so at 65 he just wanted the auto..he isnt really into performance so it works for his purposes..I can get by with it so its no big deal.. in a straight line its better and the manual 1/4 time was but just backroad driving its ok but no where near my DCT..there isnt any of that direct snap feel when you switch gears

Yeah, it seems the paddles are a lot of fun too. Sometimes I wished I had gotten the AT for the Z. Other times, no. |

Its very nice no doubt and I cant wait until it gets a little more broken in! I am a vette fan too though as my dad always had them since I was young. I had a 98 C5 back in HS and then him and I shared a C6 as well for a few years. He is retiring so we decided to get this one. car with tax title license was 74,460 ( then we got 3K off by using the GM Credit Card) so out the door was 71,460 It was a 3LT Z51 with both Carbon and Transparent top Magnetic Ride Carbon Interior NPP Exhaust I would say both tops is overkill at 3K and 2LT interior is probably good enough so I think one could get a nicely equipped one for mid 60's to me NPP and Z51 are a must have if someone were to buy one Last edited by MC; 10-24-2013 at 04:51 PM. |

Aggressive cam, some head work, headers and an X pipe = 502whp. I gotta get a V8 for my next car... or V10

These cars are bad *** and offer lots of performance. Can't wait to see what the wide body versions will look like and offer powerwise.

OK I finally got to spend a LOT of time with one of these new Vettes. I love the car but I am having a hard time with the looks. It just seems like they took too much of what they have been doing with the Caddys any put it in the look of the Vette. I can live with the looks of most of the car but the rear is a complete fail. The interior I really like. Finally Vettes have a good interior that doesnt feel cheesey to me. Preformance is outstanding, these car have plenty of power and handling is great. As I get to spend more time with them maybe the looks will grow on me, but I have never like the pointed ends on the CST-V's and the Vettes took that to another level. So far these are not on my "want" list.
Can not disagree more. |
