how does the today show host become the 2nd person to ever get to drive a new vette :shakes head:

they dont have to market to car enthusiasts...

they want to market to the people who wouldnt look at a corvette normally. that is a smart move to put it on that show. BROAD audience.

Functional aero/cooling.

Yeah but the "functional air cooling was poorly done". That's why darker colors compliment the car more imho. white yellow red and silver make this car look too busy.
So far black, Green, blue and gray look make the car look a lot better.

Today show watchers are unusually fat?

Poorly done to some people. I think the contrast is badazz.

I can't wait for Top Gear to get ahold of this.

How is it done poorly? please provide an example of a non-poorly setup then.

me too.

It just dosnt flow with the design. The airducts look like an afterthought. What kind of example do you want other than looking at other cars with intake vents all around the cars. They look much smoother.

Like i said, In certain colors, the ducts appear much less intrusive and the car looks much improved, due to a camo-effect blocking some overstated features... In others colors the ducts looked forced and like an afterthought.

Top Gear? I can lay out the script for you right now:

Car shows up. Hammond loves it, thinks its badass. Clarkson and May call it a joke car.

They all drive it, Hammond loves it, Clarkson does too. May hates it because testing was done at the Nurburgring.

When Clarkson gets out of the car, he complains about the quality of the parts. He then walks to the rear of the car to push in the rear bumper to show this car is made of "plastic".

Hammond loves it.

May is indifferent mostly because he understands it is effective lightweight material and the the vents are functional.

Then they talk about leaf springs and 18th century horse pulled carriages.

Stig does a lap in the car, under the worst conditions, either snow or rain. Fails to get a good lap time for fear of destroying supercars 2-10 times the price of the Vette.

They are far from forced, though. They are a critical part of the design.
