I really think I'm going to buy one of these assuming it's still around the low to mid 50's. But then the question is when will they release a Z06 variant... |

Whatever i may feel about the overall looks of the corvette right now is basically irrelevant imho... I'm just happy about one thing. They put out a car that will send designers and engineers back to the lab and make sure that their next gen cars can make a statement. Feature wise, the vette is what it should be even though im not in love with the looks. I don't know what the pricing is but... If it starts around $52/54k. they have a car that will affect how every car from the $35-70k range will be designed and made. And i hope it will be positive for us in Nissan and other sport car makers. Nissan has something to prove now that chevy is borrowing and possibly bettering our technologies. Nissan step up on the next Z and GTR. Especially on weight reduction and expanding the DCT to the Z.

Even $60k is a steal for a base car that bests the Grand Sport on track and comes with all this new stuff. It's like a true GT inside now. Someone (at GM) just hurry up and take my damn money!

A $10,000 jump in one year??? I don't know about that? At most i can see is a $5k/6k jump on the base car... Maybe with a track pack or something it will make it jump above $60k??? If incentives stay the same? You can take $8k/13k off the price at some point. lol  I wonder if this new vette will further spike insurance? |
