Toy helps.. its my ketchup bottle method.

When you cant get the ketchup out, stick a knife up there and stir it. Ketchup flows freely.

Toy = Knife..

Ketchup bottle =... well you get the idea.

I like the interior the exterior is a fail. Looks like they let a 5 year old design it putting vents, folds, flares all, over it. OR better they let Hot Wheels design this one.Looks like they tried to copy Lamborghini Avtentor, but with lots of fail.

they dont have to market to car enthusiasts...

they want to market to the people who wouldnt look at a corvette normally. that is a smart move to put it on that show. BROAD audience.

Yeah but the "functional air cooling was poorly done". That's why darker colors compliment the car more imho. white yellow red and silver make this car look too busy.
So far black, Green, blue and gray look make the car look a lot better.

Poorly done to some people. I think the contrast is badazz.

How is it done poorly? please provide an example of a non-poorly setup then.

me too.

It just dosnt flow with the design. The airducts look like an afterthought. What kind of example do you want other than looking at other cars with intake vents all around the cars. They look much smoother.

Like i said, In certain colors, the ducts appear much less intrusive and the car looks much improved, due to a camo-effect blocking some overstated features... In others colors the ducts looked forced and like an afterthought.

Top Gear? I can lay out the script for you right now:

Car shows up. Hammond loves it, thinks its badass. Clarkson and May call it a joke car.

They all drive it, Hammond loves it, Clarkson does too. May hates it because testing was done at the Nurburgring.

When Clarkson gets out of the car, he complains about the quality of the parts. He then walks to the rear of the car to push in the rear bumper to show this car is made of "plastic".

Hammond loves it.

May is indifferent mostly because he understands it is effective lightweight material and the the vents are functional.

Then they talk about leaf springs and 18th century horse pulled carriages.

Stig does a lap in the car, under the worst conditions, either snow or rain. Fails to get a good lap time for fear of destroying supercars 2-10 times the price of the Vette.

m4a1mustang 01-16-2013 03:12 PM

They are far from forced, though. They are a critical part of the design.

I think they are not an afterthought at all and in a great location. More importantly they are in a good location.

Red__Zed 01-16-2013 03:17 PM

all the colors are insane. i can't choose. i want one of each.

sig11 01-16-2013 03:19 PM

I'll take mine in Orange please.

speedfreek 01-16-2013 03:23 PM

I am really liking the white. Maybe the rear end will grow on my once I am able to see it in person....

daisuke149 01-16-2013 03:24 PM

I disagree with the script. If you've followed top gear every season.

May will like it as despite tested at the ring, it has MR which like int he Caddy he loved, allows him to ride comfortably and then go fast too. Hes a practical person. The Corvette has always been decently practicle as far as sports cars go. He likes things like engine management and cyl deactivation and advanced tech.

Clarkson will love it because its still a brute. The torque will get to him and the fact that it isnt just an Auto Tranny like all other super fast cars are going to which he hates. He loved the old corvette despite the plastic and the quality issues. He just likes fast cars that are cheap and look good and this has that.

Richard was the one who actually didnt like the corvette. He was more of a pure muscle car guy , mustang, camaro, challenger etc. He will be the one to mention, "yes but would you rather buy this.. or something else" and he will continue to not like this corvette. he, more so than the others likes the raw mechanical drivers car and this vette, moreso than those in the past has more electronics to interfere with that.

(I may spend too much time watching top gear.. quite honestly my VLC playlist is every top gear episode and it runs on random pretty much for at leats 5 hours a day)
