There is a turbo kit that goes for$ 9k that brings it up to 450+hp, but I bet stock 315hp is just right.

It looks fantastic! Both the base and the S are going to be really sporty rides. I'll have to check one out.

I've never been a boxster fan but this new one completely changed my mind. I thought I had another contender as a replacement for my Z in the next year or so, that is until I started optioning one out on their website. EVERYTHING is extra. The price quickly shot north of $70k before I finally just stopped. There's no way I would pay that kind of money for that car.

I start out with a 911 at around $78k and end at $115-125k with the options I want.

I am bang for the buck too. I could get a boxster or 911 but I'd feel really bad about it. I think if I get one it will be used.

Yeah, you're paying for the engineering that's behind the base model. The growl produced by Porsche's power-plant is absolutely stunning IMO.

No doubt there's a lot of quality engineering there, but a lot is the Porsche badge premium as well. That's really what kills it for me. I want everything but don't want to pay for it.

Unless you're willing to spend more than $60k on it then no harm will be done.
