I loved that car even though the rear suspension was so rusted out it looked like a low rider in the back. Bought it in 1994 and ran like a champ until I loaded up the trunk with groceries and bottomed out going up hill the gas tank litterally fell off the car and I dragged it about 100 feet by the fuel line the fact that I had just filled the tank probably saved my life. How I lived through the 90's is unknown really looked exactly like this but was white

I'm watching "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" right now. My first car in '73 was a '66 Chevy Impala 4 dr. hrdtp in nassua blue, just like the one in the movie. Love that movie!

First car 1968 Camaro RS, $850. 327, 2 speed powerglide. Earned the money as a janitor at my own high school. 4 wheel power drum brakes and an after market Craig 8 track. Man those were the days!68 camaro.jpg

79 rx-7... internet pic... mine looked the same back in '89
This car was minimalist high revving fun I thought it was fast and 2nd gear was a kick, revving up to 8k if memory serves... I was heart-broken when then girlfriend smoked me in quarter mile in her VW whatever... I eventually wrapped her (the car) around a pedestrian crossing sign trying to dodge a station wagon that pulled out of a driveway while I was out looking for trouble and cruising 100+mph at 2am with a buddy |
