Your first car!
Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, but definitely not new to the forum world. We had a thread like this in my Scion forum and it turned out pretty well. I searched through the threads and could not find one like this so with that being said. The subject is pretty simple.
Post a picture of your car, (preferably original) and the specs. Maybe add some pros/cons so your post isn't so bland. I understand that some of you...cough cough...old folks might not of had a camera back in day. Internet pictures will work as last resort. No second cars, or first dream cars! Please no bashing, this is all just for fun. Let's Begin! Pictures are what keeps this thread moving! If anyone could get bashed, it would be me! 2000 Chevy Malibu Nickname: "Mailbooty" Specs. 3.1 V6 Hp: N/a Bulky body kit w/ 15" hubs Pros: Um...only maibu with a body kit and an APR aluminium spoiler in the city haha Cons: Almost everything else. Bad fuel pump, bad hoses, bad tint, bad gas mileage, bad fart can. Last edited by USAFControl; 01-16-2012 at 03:54 PM. |

mine was a 1990 civic hatchback DX AT i got new.
i can't remember but i think it was a 90hp lawn mower engine with 13" painted steel RC airplane wheelset. i remember i loved the car even though it was a shitty AT and friends were all jelly i got a new car. i drove it to near 100K miles or something in 6yrs and trade it in for $1500 or something. |

My first car was a 93 Thunderbird, bought it off CL for 1,000 dollars. Was in ruff shape, I immediately put in some new parts like a radiator, fuel filter, spark plugs, and couple other things to get it running. Then a buddy of mine helped me get a exhaust on it. It was the v6 not the v8, but it still pulled like crazy. I just hated the last few months I had it because the tranny would slip a lot, ended up selling it to a guy and his wife who just had a baby. Really loved the car though, lot of good memories with it.

94 dodge dakota 3.9L V6 2wd Sport 4spd auto regular cab
never really did much with it, just replaced the radio and speakers. my father gave it to me for my 16th birthday (it wasn't worth much) and i had it for 4 years till i traded it back to him to buy his 99 ram at the time. i traded that truck in less than a year later on my frontier. the dakota is still sitting in his back yard and was driveable until recently. it needs some work now unfortunately. it's been a great truck other than 3 transmissions i don't really have many pictures of my old truck but here's one. i have another one but i can't find it...

1992 Honda Prelude the lowest model you can get..
Pro: reliable as fuk Con: was rusting in all the usual places, car was just old and beat up I loved that car to death even though it was a piece of crap in most people's eyes. The way I saw it was that I worked two jobs to buy it at the age of 16 and earned it with my own sweat and blood. |
