Another update. Due to the weather, the boltons have been getting installed pretty slowly. I landed back in Canada at 1:30am, got home by 4am and said **** it, i wasnt going to sleep. Decided to work on the car later that day (bad mistake with being up for about 30+ hours) I did the TWM short throw shifter and cage replacement. All was going great until i tried to align the knob up. I ended up ******* the adjustment screw up...its installed but the pattern is 90* sideways. The base bushings where the only bushings i installed at this time, ill do the cable ones on saturday. I still got the notchy feeling but the throws are alot more solid and shorter.

Next i installed the DSG dual pillar. Everything is pretty straight forward but due to the modification i had to do to my dash in order to get the wires through with the rexpeed pillar...(had to dremel a notch in the dash) there is a nice gap. And for some reason that side piece of the dash doesnt want to go in right. This has nothing to do with the DSG pillar...its just my car being gay.

Since i was working in a parking lot with snow and -10*C weather, i didnt take my front bumper off, so i installed the AMS UICP and SRI Intake....ill do the CAI adaptor on saturday. Boy do i love the sound of the intake...lol.
Also last night i installed my tomei expreme exhaust and perrin rear sway bar and rear endlinks. I didnt get any pictures but i will on saturday. Gotta fix up a few things with the exhaust, for some reason its pushed up against the passenger side of exhaust/drive shaft well.

looks good! I'm resisting the urge to buy a new turbo with my tax refund that I just got.. Have you seen the new 2.4L AMS block I'm thinking that with a FP Black and E85 for my winter 2012 project.

you defently should..lol.

I been fighting with my car the last day or so. Last night i tried to install the CAI section but it wouldnt fit, also had issues putting the filter on the pipe for the SRi version. Talked to the vendor that sold it to me and he informed me that AMS made a bad batch that had fitment issues. They are sending me a new kit and ill send this one back when the parts arrive.

Also i thought my MAF sensor went but come to fight out im just spiking at 30psi...lol. Just abit over boost, haha. Heres a couple pictures of the intercooler and lower intercooler pipe w/ tial bov from last night.

Looks about the same size but the ETS is 1" thicker

Yea it was a bitch to get in. I talked to the vendor that sold me it and he contacted AMS about the fitment issues i was having. AMS admitted to sending out a batch with fitment issues and are sending me a brand new intake kit since the lower pipe on the intake and filter are messed up.

It's awesome to hear AMS is willing to cover their mess-ups. That makes me want to buy their parts if I mod my car.

Installed the AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator and Walbro 255lph pump. I drilled the hole out to 5/65th...fuel pressure was pretty much right on, only had to make a minor adjustment with the regulator.

So just a little update. The turbo will be going in this weekend and the tuning/data logging will begin. I decided to install my grimspeed 3-port boost solenoid and opend up evoscan and set my WGDC to 0, which only allows me to boost to 20psi. At least i dont have to worry about over boosting and hitting 30psi. I went was going to data log the other night but somehow i bricked my ecu. Got my buddy to come over and "bench", the car works fine now. I was ******** bricks when the car wouldnt start..lol.
