GT-R loses again.

I wish they'd do some old cars like the NSX or the F40 or last RX-7 to set some baselines. Or to brag about the NSX some more

To me, a big difference between the zr1 and the gt-r (form what i have read anyway) is that they are both beasts and equally capable, but the difference is how capable it makes the driver. The zr1 is definitely as capable, but requires more skill to drive successfully closer tot he car's limit. The gtr is easier to drive closer to the limit for less skilled drivers which is in tune with Nissan's goals of a supercar anyone can drive. Can a zr1 beat a gtr? Sure and vice versa, but I think more people will do better in a gtr than they would in the zr1. SO if you're a great driver, zr1 is great for you or get whichever you like. If you're not as good of a driver but want to compete with the better drivers, get the gtr for sure, haha. This is a problem I would love to have someday.

thanks, i think that is my first rep, haha. people are always comparing cars' limits and potential but most of us cant drive at that level anyway which is why i love the gtr. But realistically, unless I win the lotto, the closets I will ever come to that is dropping a SC into my Z. I bet that would be plenty more than I can handle close the limit already anyway and would probably get me into trouble or dangerous situations, haha.

Well considering the Mustang Boss 302 LS ran Mazda Laguna Seca in 1:39.XX which is over 3 seconds quicker than the E92 M3 (1:42.9x) I'm not surprised at all. The Boss 302 is a serious machine

I'm more impressed that the Cayman R was just 1.1 second behind despite an inferior power to weight ratio. Of course if your just talking $ per lab time the Boss 302 finishes only behind the Vette.
