New 2012 WRX STI
 

Just picked up a brand new 2012 WRX STI with 19 miles on it! Got it in Blue Pearl. Got it for $300 below invoice with $4400 out the door my payments are $375 a month on a 42 month lease. I owed 21000 on my z and got 25000 trade in for it! So excited right now!!

Ya man I only have a rough feeling of it so far because I'm still only revving to 4k rpm for the first 1000 miles but i can tell this is going to be an amazing car. Now just got to resist the urge to look at all the mods in your sig :(

Yeah break in is purgatory... But its well worth the wait! good to have another one on the forum though!

Will have pics up tomorrow. Lots of options and adjustability. It has three modes. S mode which is for daily driving. S+ for max boost and intelligence mode for gas efficiency. Also has bluetooth and the c diffs front and back are fully adjustable. Leather and Alcantra seats ftw!

ya they really nailed it with this design IMO. I know looks are subjective but 'm fully satisfied. I'll miss the z but I have no regrets.

actually, I kinda feel the same way. I would love to add an STI to our stable and use it as practical car while keeping the nismo for fun/track. BUT, one of my requirements for the DD car is that it is an auto or dct type trans. If the STI came with a automated manual like the EVO mr etc, i'd be very very tempted.

Why not? It came with an extended warranty for free and I'll prob just end up either buying it out at the end or swapping for another new one.

Why switch from a Z to an STI?

Fairly equal performance coupled with far more practicality?

That plus the additional power potential with mods and I wanted something with awd and boost. Plus I can take this to the mountains. The z was too much of a garage queen. I never enjoyed it because I was always worried about it. This car I'm actually going to USE.

As long as you are happy with your move. I still think its an expensive rental.

I've thought about getting a STI for the longest time.

My big holdup is the ringland issue. I'd only be taking it to stage 2, but... yeah, too worried about something shitty happening. =/

I look at it like this, if I have ringland issues, I'll just request a dealer buy back. My dealer told me this was an option.
