GM ships 2012 Sonics... without brakes!

Big :icon17: and :shakes head: for this one:

GM admits it maybe forgot to put brake pads on your Chevy Sonic

So around 4k 2012 Sonics might be missing an inner or outer front brake pad... and GM doesn't plan to inform customers until mid January!!!

theDreamer 12-30-2011 11:55 AM

Who needs brakes anyways.

bigaudiofanat 12-30-2011 01:06 PM

Wastes valuable fuel efficiency using brakes of course they will not have them!!

Red__Zed 12-30-2011 01:09 PM

No brakes=less weight

Not a problem, the car is so slow they can Flinstones-stop by putting their feet outside the car. :icon17:

Or just jump out. It's like when you're a kid trying to learn how to stop on roller blades. Just plop down onto the ground... you'll be OK. :icon17:

Ah, GM.

These are the geniuses behind "planned obsolescence", after all.

Too many people on the road anyways. Might as well let some take others out using vehicular manslaughter
