I think Nissan and Toyota need to get into a slugfest and bring back the inline 6, slap a turbo on it and let tuners have the rest of the fun... A V8 is a given, it's easy and obvious power.. Just my take.

A good V8 will make power... a bad one... not so much! Same for any other engine.

Not to nitpick but those 4.6Ls are great engines. Absolute boost monsters.
A better bad V8 would be the 305 TPI motors Chevy had in their Camaros long ago.
