it can be made into a fun car with about $2k-$3k worth of bolt-ons and a good tune.

250whp shouldnt be hard to achieve with this car and a few bolt-ons.

ARe you kidding me. This is a 2.0 non-turbo motor. No way will you be able to make 250whp with simple bolt on's.
