If you need me to tell you what car to get you've got some problems! You should be able to decide on your own.

If I was buying a used GTR I'd want to see all of the service history and meet the previous owner. Wouldn't want one that was abused!

I also hear that maintenance on the GTR is crazy expensive.

And take a look at the data logs. I'll most likely be getting a used GT-R in the future so I will have to deal with all of this. Vapiano was lucky, he found one that was essentially babied. Never launched and the highest speed it was ever driven was like 93 mph.

I know Ford announced a starting price in the mid-50's, but talked to a real good friend who works at a Ford Dealership in NH. He said they're MSRP'ed at 65 easily when they hit lots. I asked if that was due to options, and he said, "Yeah, but a lot of them get ordered with every option to optimize profit."

So, I'm guessing you'd have to special order one or get really lucky if you expect to pay less than 60. Anyone seen them cheaper on lots? Also, I realize MSRP is just where negotiations begin.

They start at $54k without the SVT Performance Package. If I got one I'd get the SVT Performance Package. It includes all of the extra cooling, electronic dampers, Recaros, etc.

Honestly, I doubt you'll find one under 60K. Even at 60K the car is a bargain. The MSRP on my 2010 was 61K (mine has every single option you can get) so 60K for a 2013 should not really be a surprise.

Also, since the 2013's are hard to get, dealers are adding premiums and people are paying the premium which I disagree with. Once the comparisons start coming out and the car shows improved performance over the 2010-12's it will draw an even higher demand. I will say, don't be fooled by the crappy times you see for the 10's - 12's the tires SUCK! 0-60 in 4.3 is with the car spinning 1st through 3rd gear so, trust me when the tires hook, the car is stupid fast.

I considered a GT-R but honestly, the maintenance cost is just too high for me. I personally admire a nice car, I'm not a brand fan boy. Personally, whether it is an import or domestic if it's fast and is done right I have no problems giving someone the thumbs up. That and let's face it...there is always something faster out there.

I'd get all the options. Though I probably wouldn't get NAV. Don't need that ****.

I'd either get it all or none. Well I'm still not sold on the recaros, with loosing power seats and heat option
