It costs millions of dollars to develop. It would never happen. Especially since the SRA setup is so good to begin with. Cost-benefit doesn't add up. Any company that invested to make a good bolt in unit would only sell one or two and lose millions.

Remember in addition to the suspension parts you also need new brakes, lines, parking brake bits, differential, drive shaft, shocks/springs, etc.

I just keep seeing so much crap about the mustang not having an IRS and now they are going to it. Is it that much of an advantage?

If its a good IRS setup it can be advantageous. If they get it right I welcome it. But I'd always take a good SRA over a mediocre IRS setup.
