I picked up a 2010 GT500 which has 540hp and it pulls like an freight train, I would love to get my hands on a 2013, Ford really honored Shelby with this one.

One big issue is traction, the magazine numbers are based off run flat tires which do nothing but spin so, on a sticky tire even stock the new stang will cut 10's just as mine will go low 11's. In a way, I like because if you look at the numbers for my car it appears to be slow, mine from a roll have the WTF just happened capability. I was skeptical at first because the Z on paper looks to be just as fast but when the tires hook it is pretty impressive. I love the Z, it will always have respect in my book.

Funny thing is, Ford stated they weren't even worried about the Camaro ZL1 and more worried about how to create something that will totally outperform the Boss 302.

Good call there, as the Boss was seriously approaching gt500 performance.

that's somewhat expected out of a 600hp+ supercharged V8 though isn't it? The tune just ups the boost...I got 30hp with a Garrett chip out of the 1.8T 4 cylinder back in the day.
