Pointless product campaign from Acura.

I would love the idea of a new Acura NSX, but why bad a nice high class car without the ability to sell the model.

I would hate to be an Acura dealer explaining to a rich kid "Sorry, we don't have the car driven by Iron Man."

It was so effective you made a thread about it and now I have seen it too.

I think it worked! :icon17:

So did the NSX die off due to demand, recession, another car or what? I am curious.

Recession at the time, I believe. Which was for the better at the time I believe...it was going to become some big, front engined monster instead of the light, nimble, high-revving car it was...

kenchan 10-12-2011 03:03 PM

the front and back of that car both look like the front of the car.

I remember them wanting to switch to front engine.

Is nice but I don't think the car ever hit its mark. Overpriced with no power just the name of the brand and advertisement.

I wish they'd bring out another NSx. Such a neat car.

:iagree:

We need more Mid-Engine options, especially if they could ever produce them for around the 30-40k range. I realize the original was overpriced, but a man can dream.

Ugh...I would kill to see an affordable MR car...guess we haven't seen one since the mr2....

Given how few people know how to drive rwd anymore, I think we are stuck with fr and understeer
