There's still room for improvement on the DI system, I'm pretty glad we don't have it in our Zs.. YET.
Cobalt SS/TC's are direct injection, along with anything else using the same motor (Sky Redline, Solstice GXP). So are MazdaSpeed3's, which is also turbocharged of course.

Almost guaranteed, the reason the SBC isnt DI yet is merely due to its design. It will take a radical redesign of the SBC.
