FJ Cruiser?
So I didn't know where to put this but here it goes.
I love my Z...a lot. But with winter coming around in Germany I was thinking of getting something with 4X4 capability. Not just for around here but for a little off-roading too. I found an FJ Cruiser and I like the look, features and usefulness of it. A friend said I should trade in my Z for it. Without a thought I told him he was crazy and doesn't understand that I just can't part ways with my Z. However, the thought keeps coming back on whether or not I should consider it. What do you guys think?

I've got both. The FJ is my daily driver. I've put 95,000 miles on it and it runs like a champ. I've never had a single thing go wrong with it. 90% of the opinions in that other thread are off base. The truck has plenty of power, lots of torque, is very solid and reliable. It also tows great for a small suv. I've towed a tandem axle 6x12 enclosed trailer loaded with sport bikes to races for three years and it does just fine, rarely even downshifting unless it's a large hill. The 4x4 ability is crazy good. You can't get it stuck in mud or snow even with regular all season tires on it.
Just get th FJ and keep the z low mileage |

It's a great car, but I decided against it because Toyota only sells them loaded. I don't want to pay $34K for it. I am waiting for the plug in Prius to come out

Have both.. I'm going to pick up my winter ride on saturday.. I got it for a price that I can drive it all winter and come summer I'll sell it for a small profit or come out even.
