not only that nissan europe has done one off type cars before... this is not like a production juke they are gonna start selling this is a project of nissan europe

Isamu 09-26-2011 02:51 PM

The Juke is a fun little car, this would make it a monster...

I would still rather see then R&D a TT into the 370...
do a 370ZX with T/Targa top! BOOYAH! I would trade in my NiSMO

One_Quick_Z 09-26-2011 03:13 PM

If it was a production model I think I would have to trade in the Z at that point...

And that means a lot seeing how highly I think of my Z :)

da mayor 09-27-2011 08:34 AM

mmmmm i want price?

Isamu 10-11-2011 05:47 PM

it's not a production thing, just something they are doing for fun.. tho if it makes it into production, you are looking at a 50k JUKE!

Armonster 10-11-2011 07:45 PM

I love the line in the video about "under the time pressure, the team had to..." blah blah. Every car build video / tv show is under some arbitrary time constraint as a way to add drama to the show. It's lame.

This car, however, is awesome.

probably more like 70K, they'd have to upgrade the awd, trans, suspension etc, just droping in that motor w/o the rest would mean it would only accelerate quickly one time.

Assuming they dropped the GTR trans straight into the juke, that's 20K right there.

perhaps, but they would probably de-tune it, and lower the BHP SO you would only get about 50k worth of a GTR when you buy it :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

370zproject 10-11-2011 10:21 PM

they put up anither vid on their fb im to lazy to go get it

Are you kidding? With that level of engineering etc that's going to be minimum $200k one off car.

It's just a fun PR project for Nissan Europe engineering team.

There are some performance kits for Juke hitting market. I suspect this will be show car to help with performance kits. The want to jazz up the jukes image.

I just wish the AWD juke had a manual 6 speed.

I was referring to the price if it was going to be going into regular production.

Yes, GTM has some stage 1-3 packages for the juke that are coming soon. I'm quite interested to see what some folks do to up the power output of that little 1.6.
