Default 2010 M3 - Should I?

Hey guys, I wasn't really looking for a new car, but I just came upon a used 2010 e92 M3 at alocal dealership. The specs on the car are as follows:

Melbourne Red
Premium Pkg
Convenience Pkg
6MT
19in Wheels
Sunroof
20,000 miles

Original MSRP on the car was 66k, the dealer is willing to let it go to me for 49k. The exterior is pretty much perfect, there are a couple tiny flaws on the interior (steering wheel is a little scuffed, scratch in the leather on the passengers seat) but the dealer said they will fix these issues.

Do you guys think I should jump on this?

If you like it, go for it, but get the dealer repair claims in writing before you sign anywhere.

Test drive it, too, to make sure it's what you want.

M3's are awesome sauce, though

After my first car got wrecked, I was so close in getting a new M3. Negotiations fell through and we couldnt come to an agreement in price. But that deal you have there is really good! I'd do it if it was available when I got my new Z.

DO IT!!!!!!

Nothing to be sorry about. I think any car enthusiast would agree. Only reason I picked a Z over an M3 or a Ferrari or a Bugatti is that I can afford a Z.

If the $ works out and you like the car, go for it. Do what shado said and make sure you get the repair stuff in writing.

I would love to have a M3! Next on my list for sure.

Miles a little bit high for one yr but I imagine that the BMWs still come with the free maintenance package for 5 yrs.

If you like it and have the money go for it!

Warranty included = buy if you like it.
Warranty excluded=turn it down if they try to give it to you.

Yeah the warranty on the car is good until March of 2014, so I would be ok for the most part there.

Finding a good independent shop that specializes in BMW's is the best alternative to dealerships after warranty.

And if you have some wrenching skill, it won't be as bad to own one out of warranty. Since you do have a few years left on your warranty bring it in as often as you can for every little thing you see, hear, or feel wrong.

A few years ago when I worked at a euro performance shop BMW didn't sell or lease their computer systems for diagnostics. Mercedes did as we had our own DAS computers. So independent shops can't always be an alternative.

BMW waits 3-5 years to release them. It's not a problem, as they're usually out by the time your warranty is up.
