The one thing I don't like about rear-mounted mufflers is that the tips are so short. On my old Mustang the mufflers were located right ahead of the rear axle

The one thing I don't like about rear-mounted mufflers is that the tips are so short. On my old Mustang the mufflers were located right ahead of the rear axle so the tips were like 16" long chrome cannons of badass.
