I say forgo the shifter for now... see how you like the stock one over time and ask the transmission breaks in.

I'd consider an intake + tune if you aren't opposed to it. Hard to argue with +30-40 whp.

Ya, I really see no need for a shifter personally

I was thinking about a Steed CAI too. However, I don't think I want to go with a tune "just yet", esp under warranty. So in your guy's opinion, performance mod wise, if I go with the GT500 mufflers and a Steeda CAI, I should NOT need a tune correct?

have you looked at the Saleen grille with GT/CS lower :yum::yum:

I saw that, and though I like it, I don't like the fact that the Saleen grille gets rid of the big fogs... those are a trademark of the GT's...

steeda rquires a tune if not mistaken....if you want a CAI that doesnt need a tune looking into BBK, R2C, AFE, and AEM are the ones i know of...the main reason for the tune is to accomadate the larger MAF housing

I did not know that :( Thanks for pointing that out.

The problem I have with the other CAI's you mentioned is that they're not true cold air's... if anything, will be warm air under hood again :( Maybe I just stick with K&N drop ins or WIX dry filter drop ins.

Air Filters Direct Fit IRF Ford Mustang GT 2010 V8-4.6L; 2011-12 V8-5.0L<br> 30-80179 - aFe Power

this is the drop in i went with, its dry flow AFE..It DOES fit our car... i had a JLT CAI at 1 point but sold it...i guess am holding out dynos on the western motorsports intake

No-tune CAI or drop-in filters are not worth it, IMO.
