I heard you could slap a massively huge turbo on with few issues...at least until the point where the motor actually ate a turbo.

To get around this, many people swapped in inferior parts to tame the engine.

My buddy took me for a drive in his stock 5.0 the other day. I knew it would be quick but I really didn't expect it to be as fast as it was. That thing pulls hard. He made a believer out of me. The interior wasn't bad but I much prefer the Z's. On exterior styling I'd give the nod to the Z as well but the Mustang is growing more on me. With a few mods I think they can look really good. The engine in the 5.0 is almost good enough to make me trade in my Z...almost. I think I'd rather wait and see what the new C7 has to offer instead.

I'd rather staple my scrotum to a stool and stand up really fast than buy a Mustang.

I was just thinkin this morn about how damn long this thread got already!!!

Ever since the 2011 GT hit showrooms, every thread that compares that to the Z blows up to 50 pages in a matter of weeks.
