It's an actual simulation, not a arcade game like GT5 and Forza. PC-based, subscription service, you pay for all of the content, requires a dedicated wheel/pedal setup. It's not really for fun as much as it is for training.

I own all of the content and have been involved since the beta testing days, so I have about $2k into it so far. :icon17:

If you give it a try I recommend you work on both your road and oval licenses. It's gobs of fun.

iRacing will probably be good for you given where your head is at. As long as you focus on 1) staying on track and 2) staying off other cars you will do well. :tup:
