This is a good point worthy of consideration. Mustang needs to maintain a meaner type of look.

Wasn't there an old Shelby gt350 something or other from the 60's (not a mustang afficianado) that was decked out black and gold tho??

Ah yes, the old Hertz edition specially made for the Hertz rental company. People used to rent them and take them out and street race all across the town.

They did gold stripes, so gold wheels definitely will work.

/\ that's the one! I saw one driving around a few years ago, looked good. I wish the current stang was more in line size wise wiht the original, less muscle car and more pony car.

m4a1mustang 09-18-2011 08:18 PM

Do it Dan.

That's odd. I wonder why?

waiting for a response. kinda weird IMO.

I know the #8 issue is very unlikely and likely fixed in their tunes, but I'd still like that piece of mind.

m4a1mustang 09-18-2011 08:26 PM

Well, if you don't get it with them then you won't get it with anyone else. I still wouldn't worry about it, though. If your a:f is good and you aren't pinging at all, there's nothing to worry about.

yeah but I may not tune...it is not like I actually need the power:icon17:

m4a1mustang 09-18-2011 08:46 PM

Good point.

Red__Zed 09-18-2011 08:50 PM

though it looks like the tune opens up even more torque down low :yum:

m4a1mustang 09-18-2011 08:55 PM

Yeah, it does. It's a huge difference... we're talking 30-40 whp gains with the Steeda CAI and a tune.

m4a1mustang 09-18-2011 08:58 PM

Don't rush it. I'd get your mufflers first.
