I think I wanna stop after HFC's, Uprev, SP wheels, Akebono BBK, and maybe rear sways. After that I can just claim it as a sport package Z if I try to trade it in, I doubt the dealership will even know

Damn got me there. I can always do a part out and get some of my money back on them.
I have a touring without the sport package. All those things I listed earlier were things I plan on getting in the future, not ones that I already have. |

I switched to the 5.0 cuz the new engine is strong 412hp out of the box...pretty sweet. The last time i had a mustang it was a 5.0. The mustang was always in the back of my mind and i was quite happy with my nismo. But it just lacked a little more power and it was a little uncomfy and not as practical. Those are little things. My insurance dropped $60 a month also, go figure. I didnt consider a stang too much until i drove it. It had that extra punch that i wanted. And the stang is so easy to gain more power from. The 5.0 responds so well to a CAI & tune. The power increase is really noticeable. The Z is fun to drive but is a little to small and a little short on power in comparison. Its hard to know all these things that come up from a test drive. You find out more later through ownership. If i could i would've liked to have both. The build quality on the Z is better but it falls short on bang for the buck. Ford did good with this new 5.0. Lots of power, quality of the stang has improved overall. It drives smooth soaks up all the bumps and doesnt rattle my teeth. Am i getting old?...lol. I have always been a mustang guy had many different sports cars but this one just fills the void. It took a lot of mods to get my 1990 gt to go as fast as the new 5.0 does out of the box. But for now pretty happy with my stang. Hopefully i wont have to get rid of it like my last stang. I dont see that happening my student loans are all paid off.

the 260hp sorta sucked but the torque was great, assuming you knew how to drive it. Unfortunately most people can't seem to handle a car that makes such great low end torque and thus why you saw 350s beat them here and there. |

It wasn't until I switched to 4.10 gears that the car really woke up. from basically 14 flat all the way down to 13.50. Low trap, but the car ripped from a dig. I remember hanging with LS1s through the top of 2nd. It wasn't til we hit third that their power advantage would commence with the rape. It was a fun little car for sure.
