Yep. I say low ball them for right around invoice. If they aren't willing to go that low, they aren't worth your business, and in a few months, if that car's still on the showroom floor, they'll change their tune.

when buying ANY new car, never pay more than 500 over invoice if you can help it... unless of course you're buying a porsche or ferrari... lol. Any mainstream vehicle, should be able to get close to invoice if not under it.
|
Yeah, even if it's in demand you should be able to at least get invoice for it.
|
Steve btw, another topic... I was on the stang forum, and read there that though a CAI with tune is best for most gains, this dude said it's still worth getting a CAI with no tune because it results in about 20whp, proven by like Airraid or something.
Is this true? I thought gains from CAI with no tune are minimal at best. |

How long until the engine goes under that stress?

here's a pass with a built block/procharger:
8 seconds? holy shyt man. |
So if you had it to do all over again would you buy a GT500 or a supercharged 5.0?
|
I prefer the 5.0... I think it's the better engine. I'd take an N/A 5.0 over the GT500... but that's just me.

Do not like the 5.4 nearly as much. Still a beastly engine though. |
