So I've been reading around and it looks like the 2013 refresh is going to be pretty nice. The GTs will be getting a facelift, all new from the doors forward with more GT500-esque styling. Like b1ades posted earlier, there is a new LCD screen in the cockpit where you can toggle through a variety of digital gauges that measure stuff like 0-60, 1/4 mile, trans temp, oil temp, oil press, a/f, etc. HIDs also appear to be standard on all of the cars now and it might get LED tails.

Dammmmittttttt....
Although, at least I beat the oil cooler-related price drop on the z :rofl2: |

DI isn't coming (AFAIK) until the 2014/2015 MY with the complete redesign. What we know with that version is:
250+ lbs lighter than current (so 3,350lbs maximum) Smaller exterior dimensions Direct Injection, probably rated 450hp IRS Ford also says it will NOT have the pure retro-style, but will definitely look like a Mustang. |
If they do that right, I'll be swapping in for 2 of those.

One thing I noticed last night... Ford changed the spec on the transmission fluid for the MT82 in the 2012MY to their dual-clutch automatic fluid. I already bought my Redline fluid a couple months ago which I suppose now would be out of spec if I go by the 2012 service manual, but a bunch of people are running Redline with great results.

Because the it's getting a 6-7 speed dual clutch box with paddle shifters. This is all if I get another Mustang. I kind of want an ///M or AMG for the next ride. |
At least one of my next cars will be auto. At's these days have gotten very impressive, and it will help me hate traffic less
|
Yeah, definitely. I love MT but absolutely hate it in traffic. And since I drive 14,000 miles a year to/from work... arggg!
