for me, the fact that the 5.0 is so much smoother all the way up to redline was important...plus the trans feels better to me...
Kinda funny...the engine roughness and the transmission feel from the Z are what I expected from the mustang, and vice versa... Of course, the mustang looks like *** relative to the Z...luckily I can't see it while driving. |

Z is much more of a sexy look, the 5.0 is more of an "i'm going to eat your kids for breakfast" kind of look. Mean as ****. Quote:
Taken anyone for rides yet? That's usually when the haters are like... "wait a minute... this is actually pretty f*cking awesome!" They expect the power but are kind of blindsided by how quick it is on its feet and the absolutely incredible grip.

I do think the stang looks good, just not on the level of the Z. The wheel gap literally causes my retina to bleed... And yes, from the driver's seat, the Mustang feels like an overpowered version of what I thought the Z would be. |

You know how it is up here in NOVA, so I'm keeping mine at stock height 'til they finish all this construction... in 2014.

Honestly I would, but my work parking lot is ****. I lost the air dams for my Z pretty quickly going in and out. Not looking to do that again. Though I may measure it out and see what I can do....the mustang doesn't sit as low from the factory, and my Z was down over 50mm at the end.

Steeda Sport springs will drop it a good bit, probably alright for you.
Those are actually what I want. A healthy wheel gap, and Sam thinks they are the best spring rate for the car without slamming the **** out of it.

I also want that red T5 Turbo behind the 5.0 in that pic.

For a street wheel I don't care much about the weight... it's not that bad. Width, yeah, I wish they were 9.5 to accommodate 285 RE-11s all around. Perfect setup IMO.

yeah, that'd be really nice. Especially because stock class doesn't let you change rim size...and there's nothing worth running on the stock 9's, at least nothing you'd want to street.
