But for those familiar with rally racing, it looks really cool.

I saw a white one a few months back with real aggressive mud flaps and high profile dirt tires. I had a hard time hiding my erection.
That's funny. I've been telling my wife she's "such a boy racer" since we picked it up. LOL!

too bad i can't afford some swaybars and support braces right now, because the WRX does suffer from floating a little bit.

I'm waiting, but like I've said, another bad winter and I'll be jumping in the STi camp. I'm not power hungry, and I prefer the looks/interior of the STI to the Evo.

I'd totally shoot for a hatch, though!

The sedan doesn't have clear tails (unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean).

I have a set ready to be installed. I don't really like the look though, so I only plan to put them on in the winter and will install them when I put the winter tires on. Speaking of which, here's a pic of my winter wheels plus a few other pics:

Semtex, what are those things you installed in the grille? Laser diffuser or some sort of LED marker/fog lights?

i agree...I would prefer something more elegant or flows more like it came from factory in terms of mudflaps than the Rally Armor flaps but those should do a decent job in winter. Originally I thought I'd only put them on for winter only but it wouldn't look right with just the bracket in place, and not worth the risk of paint damage from repeatedly removing the brackets.

It's the Blinder M27 laser jammer. BLINDER X-TREME | Home

Regarding the mud flaps, do you think they're really necessary? Like what would happen if I ran my car all winter without mudflaps? Would my paint get damaged?

I just want to reduce the amount of spray on the body and underside of the car. All that salt and gravel that's used...

Nice stealthy install. When I initially looked at your front bumper picture I was paying attention to the license mounting point wondering what you did to it.

Depends on how and where you drive

I run with no flaps in the winter and have had no issues, though with a lot of sand/salt/rocks you may want them.

Winters in the great white north mean tons of salt & gravel on the roads.
