If you had $25K what would you buy?

Moving on; If you had $25k to spend on another car that you could work on and modify, what would you buy? I'd buy the new genesis 2.0T R-Spec and get the basic stuff; exhaust, intake tune etc. I think for the price and the warranty it comes with, and not to mention the fact that Hyundai really stepped up their game, the genesis is the next best thing you can get under 30k after the 370z. What would you ladies and gentlemen buy? |

I bought a altima however if I did not have to worry about the snow I would have bought a genesis!

If I'm modding, I'm not concerned with warranty. Looking at this as a toy (not a DD), I'd buy a track toy that you could buy AND mod for under 25k, like a used Miata or S2k, or if you're more into drag, maybe a used stang. Best of both worlds, maybe a C5Vette
But if this car needs to be practical, I wouldn't mod a lot and would avoid RWD due to weather. Get a GTI. |

In general I'd buy some ointment for Shados erpes'. But car wise I'd buy a winter beater, and just some small stuff for the Z, like nav system

I agree with red_zed, I'd get a wrx in your situation. Practicality (4 doors + AWD for the snow) and tunability in one. Looks are not so hot IMO, though. I used to have one, but sold it for my Z. Looks are what you got the Z for, right?

That's perfect for a 240sx!!!!
You can have one modded with cosmetics for that price. Which I think is the best you can go. I do love the 05 Sti's!

I would get a used jeep and DD that, then put the rest into the STI and keep it for the weekends.
