I'd prefer a G T R personally. That said, I agree that the seven year maintenance program will certain make cars more appealing to those who may otherwise not be inclined to purchase. This is beginning to show in many areas of sales normally reserved for "high end" buyers where by the sellers are offering inducements such as you mentioned that make it affordable for some who otherwise might pass. Always good to have a goal! If you wind up settling for a GTR, I'd say you'll be just fine.

why dont all you guys that want the experience of having an exotic just rent one for a day or 2...Its around $1500-$2500 a day but thats a hell of a lot cheaper then buying one.

I have thought about it but its not really the same. If you own it you have more time to get used to it so you can really push it to the limits, which IMO is one of the main reasons to get one. Can't reality do that for a weekend rental. If I did rent one, I'd probably want to take it to a track

I'll never own a Ferrari or a Lambo or whatever, but that really doesn't bother me. They are more art pieces than cars, imo.
