$5 is equivalent to about 500 bids and that goes for about $500 maybe a bit less.

^ it also fails to show how much $ he has spent on other attemps on winning stuff to date. It's like gambling. I can walk in and spend $5 and win $5,000 but if I spend a few decades gambling all my extra money away, how much am I really ahead?
