Bigaudio's new car

Well you may remember my 03 honda civic. Well the trip to West virginia finally killed it to the point where I do not want to repair it. "Blown head and slipping trans"

So after thought and talking I have decided to get a new car.

Was going for a hyundai elantra however I did not think their interior was up to par.

So with my requests in hand I headed over to the Team nissan dealer by where I live. My requests were simple, manual trans, black interior, steering wheel controls, black exterior. They were not so pleased when I said I had to have a manual. However I was in luck they had a crimson black in manual with the conveyance package.

So Monday after signing the remaining papers I wil have my first brand new car!!!!

I have already ordered Adams polishes to take care of her and thinking about a clear bra as well.

Here are a few pictures.

LOL yep and this weekend it will get washed, clayed, swirl and haze remover, fine polish, and a few coats of wax.

Been using different products over the years and cheap microfiber towels. It was time to invest in some real towels and so on. Will probably order more as I am very impressed with the products I have used so far.

After driving with the stock system for 2 days. No way I mean I am going to wait a while and than verify its ok and will not void the warranty. Than will order everything and do ONE install and be done.

I think the only warranty that it would void would be on the stereo. No great loss. I don't know about the Altima, but the base 370 is probably the worst stereo I've ever had. Mind you, my first new car was a Dodge Omni. :icon14:

:bowrofl: True besides I have torn out at least 20 stereos from 370z's no problems.

I was thinking of replying "Nope it has 5 wheels one is in the trunk and comes down for off roading. Here's your sign"

Elvis@Vossen 07-13-2011 03:27 PM

Nice car, it has a great design. Congrats!

bigaudiofanat 07-25-2011 01:12 PM

Well a friend and me went to WV for a party this past weekend. He was the DD so after the party we got into my 3 week old car. As we pulled out of the space I hear a loud sound.

Someone had moved a concert flower pot closer to my car so they could get out.

When we got to the hotel I looked at it I could not believe what I saw. When I woke up the next morning I irremediably went out to make sure I was not dreaming it. Sure enough there it was dented and scratched. My friend is going to take car of the damage. I just can not believe this. First brand new car and this. Anyone know how much this is going to hurt his wallet?

Paint jobs can hurt. Especially since Nissan's paint is so crappy.

Insurance can cover a large part of it. Without insurance, I'm thinking 1-2k, since they'll have to respray more than one piece and color match.

And it won't buff out if you can run your finger across it and feel something. I've already dumped too much money in correcting this sh1tty paint in a year, so I know pretty well.

bigaudiofanat 07-25-2011 01:25 PM

Ya but if I go threw insurance my rates will go up!
