I think the only warranty that it would void would be on the stereo. No great loss. I don't know about the Altima, but the base 370 is probably the worst stereo I've ever had. Mind you, my first new car was a Dodge Omni. :icon14:

:bowrofl: True besides I have torn out at least 20 stereos from 370z's no problems.

This wins the award for the most baffling first post. Ever.

I was thinking of replying "Nope it has 5 wheels one is in the trunk and comes down for off roading. Here's your sign"

Well a friend and me went to WV for a party this past weekend. He was the DD so after the party we got into my 3 week old car. As we pulled out of the space I hear a loud sound.

Someone had moved a concert flower pot closer to my car so they could get out.

When we got to the hotel I looked at it I could not believe what I saw. When I woke up the next morning I irremediably went out to make sure I was not dreaming it. Sure enough there it was dented and scratched. My friend is going to take car of the damage. I just can not believe this. First brand new car and this. Anyone know how much this is going to hurt his wallet?

Paint jobs can hurt. Especially since Nissan's paint is so crappy.

Insurance can cover a large part of it. Without insurance, I'm thinking 1-2k, since they'll have to respray more than one piece and color match.

And it won't buff out if you can run your finger across it and feel something. I've already dumped too much money in correcting this sh1tty paint in a year, so I know pretty well.

Ya but if I go threw insurance my rates will go up!

WOW Matt... Take it to a well established body shop and get estimate for work. This looks like a $500 - $700 fix to me including the paint, dent repair & labor. It's all going to work out in the end once it gets fixed just ensure that the right people are working on your brand new car.

Matt, if it helps any, I replaced my Z's windshield 2 weeks after purchase. Driving on a very windy day, a large rock was thrown into my windshield from the side of a highway.
