Hyundai recalls nearly 1 million vehicles

It seems to me that Hyundai went the extra mile in releasing this as a recall rather than a simple TSB, which should be a +rep IMO.

I personally think that Hyundai makes great vehicles these days and if I were in the market for a car right now I wouldn't discount the Genesis because of the badge. Hell, it seems that Hyundai is moving past Honda considering all of the issues that this current generation of Si (as well as the past generation of RSX-S) has had.

IMO it probably had more to do with NHTSA.
