It's like Mitsubishi's Turbos, or Honda and Toyota's hybrid tech from a few years back, leased out for the benefit of others. |

Same, and to be perfectly honest, I am butthurt that I didn't fork over the extra $9K to get it and the CB's in my car. If I had, I probably would not be lusting after a different ride in another year or so.

Time to shlob the ZR-1's knob a little more.
Of course, the Vette took home a class win at Le Mans this weekend. When I was watching the broadcast, they mentioned how out of all of the cars in the production class, the off-the-showroom ZR1 is closest to the actual race car. The main differences were that the race car had wider flared fenders to suit the fat racing wheels, and that the engine was de-tuned from the production version to meet the 500ish hp limit for that class. |

hmmmm, $105,000 gets you a ZR1 that'll do "the Ring" on dry pavement 5 seconds faster than a $90,000 '11 GTR in semi-wet conditions. Oh, and you have to be a bad-***, balls out driver like that guy in the ZR1. Mad props to that dude.

The performance ZR1 package keeps the old ZR1 transmissions ratio's and gets the PS CUP tires.
The non-"performance package" ZR1 gets a double-overdrive similar to the current Z06 and rolls on PS2 ZP's. Worth a mpg or two here and there supposedly. |
