In their defense, it stopped like 2 feet shorter from 60 or 70 or something than the Z06 carbon and GT-R in Edmund's testing, which is insane. However, I bet it only did it once every half hour, lol.
Like I was saying in a previous post, the brakes are really good. Honestly better than my Akebono setup even with the tiny rears.

The advantage to the small rear rotors is that you can fit a 15" wheel with some slicks on them for the strip.

But I definitely welcome bigger brakes as I am not a drag racer.

They stop incredible, but look like they would fade faster than heck. Do they defy their looks there, too? I mean, Ford tested the thing on VIR, which does have some serious speed, but I noticed they refused to take it to the 'ring where the brakes could really get a workout.

No one has had any brake issues on track with the Brembo GT, Boss 302, or the GT500s that I have heard of. Dot-4 fluid and a track-oriented pad and they are fine.

For me, on the street with the most spirited driving (Dragon runs) I experienced absolutely zero fade. The fronts do the brunt of the work and they are fantastic.

At this point, I figured it'd be nice to inform you that the rears aren't even two-pots... they are one. It makes me laugh because I am always like, "how can these be better than the Akebonos?" But somehow they are!

Brembos, man. Brembos.

When I drove my old Pontiac G5, the brakes were awesome. That was the only good thing about that car.

How can the fronts be 6-pots when the rears on the old one's are 1 pots?

I don't know how Ford prevents fade when even the Z06 weighing a ton less, using Brembo brakes, and having 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston out back can experience fade.

Hats off to Ford I guess. No other way to word it.
