Your logic doesn't make sense. So in order to be considered a supercar, it has to have some sort of artistic prowess? Huh?
Have you ever seen the lap videos of the Zonda R or a ZR1? Or, hell, a SLS AMG? They are hardly composed cars. They look as if they are succeeding by brute force and the sheer will of the driver.
Yet, they are certainly supercars. I mean, I could understand if you said it wasn't a supercar because of its price or luxury or exclusivity, but not how composed it is on the track.

I don't think this is the case. After all, the 5.0 is cheaper than the Z and it is a more capable track machine, yet the Z still sells. You could also buy a base Vette for the price of a top-range Z.
