I told my wife when the kids are out of the house. Ill be make a retirement check from the military and a second paycheck from my second career then I'll buy ever fast car I want. I'll still be cheap though, and not go too crazy unless I win a lottery.

Im pretty happy that I can keep myself entertained with relatively inexpensive cars. My problem is my desire to get a new one every week.

That doesn't end. I find myself wondering what I will trade the Z06 in on. So far a Z06/Z07 last-year C6Z and a '10 Last Edition Viper are the two I am looking at. The GT-R? I just don't trust it enough to want to own one, as whatever I buy next I am going to hold onto for a while until I get a house, etc. GT-R would be like a 300ZX. Fun until warranty was gone. I like the GT-R but I would never spend a dime on one (unless Lou Fusz hooks me up with a killer deal on a 2012), it's just not a car I have any interest in owning. Would I like to drive one? Hell yes. Own... no.

I think I might end up keeping this Mustang for a while because it's a nearly limitless platform for modding, but I want to add something to the stable and soon.

Criteria: Two doors, no roof, manual transmission, great handling, not slow, yellow.

But really, I'm looking at possibly picking up an S2000 for some drop-top fun, or maybe even a Miata... I want those doors.

I'm obsessed right now with what my next DD will be, and at worst, that decision is still 8 months away. If I'm responsible, the decision is still years away.

I've always had mustangs growing up. If you want a supercharged mustang the Roush will blow a Shelby out of the water. Anyways me and my fiance have 4 kids together, are getting married this year and honeymooning in Cancun for a week. So she always throws it in my face that she is the greatest for jsut letting me have the car. However I have set up a savings account just for the mods!!!!

Second, I truly believe that if the shelby and the Z were the same price everyone would have bought the Shelby.

What a supercar should be:

1. Expensive high end car
2. it must be very fast
3. sporting handling to match the speed and power
4. it should be a refined and exodic design
5. price should be of an amount respective to the car's limited nature
6. marketed by automakers to be unusual
7. limited production specials from an "elite" automaker
8. models that appeal to "hardcore enthusiasts" from manufacturers on the fringe of the car industry

I wouldnt put the Shelby or GTR in "supercar" catigory. Im not saying that they cant keep up with some supercars but I will argue that with parked next to a true supercar anyone can tell the difference.
