Traded my 09 370Z for G37IPL
After two years of owning my Z I decided that I needed a change. As much as I like the beast its to focused for my driving style. I guess the noise was the biggest issue. So deafening on certain roads, mainly concrete, that I couldn't hear my radio .Im alot older than most you fellows so things like that do become bothersome.
Got a great deal for i,t 200 bucks below invoice. Sales guy says their not selling. I think is because people have missed the whole marketing of this car. The price was the main reason I bought it. 10,000 less than a comparable BMW 335I. Its got plenty of performance for me plus there will be only 400 of them made. It may not suit you young guys but for myself is perfect. Pick it up Tuesday |

This is BS! I'm 56 and you can't pry this car from my hands. You're going soft! How are you gonna pick up hot young babes?

Have fun with your new ride! Its all good! I considered the G as well before settling on the Z and I'm sure that most on this community have thought at least once about getting one as well (whether it was before or after their purchase).
Pictures when you get it would be nice! Truth be told, if give that G a little drop and put some sweet wheels on it, you're gonna be able to pick up hot young chicks in it too! |

Damn, I'm 54 and the only way I'll give up my Z is when they pry it from my cold dead hands. I really don't find it that noisey. My only bitch is the road noise from the stock tires, those I regret, but thats another thread.

Geez, I am 50 and thought I was the oldest. I have been driving Z cars since I was 20 and will keep driving them even after DMV takes my license away and I am in Depends.

OP: just how old are you? I am older than most here too, but I am thinking about improvements to the Z, not a sedan. It does sound like a nice one though.

OP unless you have small kids the IPL is gonna add much, but a some sound proofing. Adults can't really fit in the backseats and the added weight takes away from driving dynamics.

I'm 59 The latest C/D May issue has a comparison test with the new series 1M,TTRS, and the IPL
According to the results the IPL had the best steering and was able to keep up with the other two cars. I,d say that's pretty good company to keep with. It really is a outstanding car Sort of a wolf in sheep's clothes. |
