I had a G37 and went to Z. Not for looks or wow factor at all. Just wanted more handling than my G could offer... I had a $2200 coilover, but the coilover couldn't shrink the behavior of a car with a 112in wheelbase on tight curves and turns. In price it was a step down. In performance, it was a step up. In a perfect world id own the skyline v37, fairlady Z and skyline GTR at the same time.

You know what? All the bashing is BS. His choice is awesome, and I would definately consider it too.
Atleast the guy is not buying a damn RUSTANG! LOL

The ipl is hott. I almost jumped into yet another G with the IPL. But like I previously mentioned, G's are overpriced. Considering how much discount you get at year end, I wouldn't buy one now. Secondly. I have more free money to get a little more radical on mods. I wanna do FI again. Something I haven't done since 1994.

Thanks to all of you who congratulated me for the trade. As for those who flamed me I truly feel sorry for you. I was taught that if you did not have anything good to say,say nothing. My needs from a car maybe different than yours, that was all i was trying to say.
Hope everyone has a great and a safe summer. Enjoy whatever ride you own and drive with pride |

However, what I do find odd is, since you posted on this forum/thread, what else were you expecting??? Aside from either positive OR negative remarks? What was your purpose of posting the thread in the first place? I hope you weren't expecting just pats on the back and big hoorays from everyone because that ain't gonna happen. From what I can read, you weren't posting a question. You were posting the fact that you did trade it in and were picking it up this week. To be honest, what do you expect the forum members to do? Some will hate it, some will love it, and some (like me) will be indifferent. So all I'm saying is that, don't get on other folks for posting what they feel.... this is an open forum, and you invited those remarks (again, positive OR negative) upon yourself as soon as you posted the thread in the first place. With that, enjoy your new ride and congrats on the change.

Good trade. The IPL is hot. I had a G37s back in 08 but I missed the "rawness" of my 350z so when the lease was up I got a 370. Now, I definitely miss the luxury of the Infiniti, although not as sporty its a pretty good balance between sport and luxury. Plus its way more age appropriate. Nice car
