mark_taba85 04-18-2011 01:27 PM

Ooo that's the new ninja250 eh?

I was looking at getting one of those just to cruise around and stuff.

Looks better than the previous 250s.

They are fun, easy to flick around comfy and gets like 50-60mpg. Easy on the wallet too. It has no power though. Your not gonna out run a car. Great bike. Best 250 out there. With gas going up may get another one of these.

ANMVQ 04-19-2011 09:06 AM

Yea guys it's the 2011 250R,, She is small so she did not want a 600.. Me nither, Do not need the wife flying around on a 600.. :) Yea realy easy on the wallet and the 2.8%Fincaning is nice to. Be paid off in a year. Yea and with gas at $4.00 a gallon a perfect thing to have.

Even if this is a smaller bike, please get her at least a helmet, gloves, and jacket.

SoCal 370Z 04-19-2011 11:49 AM

 This model was a good choice. Nimble is the key when starting out and the 250 fits this criterion well. Is she taking any riding courses?

Red__Zed 04-19-2011 12:11 PM

Seems like a fun starter bike.

She will do that till she is confident driving with more traffic on the road.. All my buddies who ride did the same thing, Went out earlt AM and got uset to the road and the bike ..
