Another video of a crazy modded escalade vs a GT-R. This time it's a 1000 hp TT Escalade. Enjoy.

While I love fast cars and power, this does not light my fire in any way. Obviously they are built for different purposes, but I intensely dislike Escalades.

Same here. I drove an 08 Escalade for 600 miles when my uncle bought it and was not impressed.

that's just insane because that platform was never meant to have anything close to that kind of performance. what a waste. :shakes head: as for escalades, i used to work at a caddy dealership and if you understand that they are made to be long drive comfortable cruisers really for highway driving they are pretty nice, especially the newer models. they are also substantially cheaper to maintain than the other german vehicles in that class and even to some degrees, the Japanese. i like them a lot for what they are and wouldn't mind having one if it wasn't for the gas mileage

I thought my uncle's old Mercedes E500 (I think it was an 05-06) was wayyyyyy more comfortable than that Escalade. It wasn't bad, but I may have been expecting too much from it.

You guys should think of it as a compliment to the GT-R. It's a well known world-beater and is one of the handful of automotive performance standards out there. That's obviously why they are comparing their cars to the GT-R, because everyone knows how fast the GT-Rs are... It makes people say, "whoa, that thing is as fast as/faster than a GT-R!" :tiphat:
