I used the car locator feature on the Nissan website. Just enter the options you want and it will tell you where they are. I wanted a roadster with a stick which was hard to find. I had to check 20 dealers within 100 miles but I found a bunch of cars and it only took 10 minutes.
I walked into the Nissan dealer that is literally 1 mile from my house. They had a black cherry roadster but it was an automatic. I gave the saleshole my contact info and told him what I wanted. Nothing.... A few days later I went into the showroom of their sister dealership about 20 miles away and they had a white roadster in the showroom with a huge discount banner on it and it was a stick. We bought it the next day. This was the SAME dealer. If they had told me they had one 20 miles away I would have bought it from the dealer near me. How hard would that have been? No effort, no call, no sale. |
